WHAT ARE WE DOING TO HANDLE SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES?

Our shipments have always gone through Long Beach, CA.. everyone is aware of that mess. Our parts were delayed for weeks. To avoid the Long Beach catastrophe, we changed our shipments to go into the Houston, TX port. While Long Beach had 80-90 ships anchored waiting to get in and be unloaded, Houston only has 15-20. While Long Beach loaded the freight into warehouses waiting for truck transport, many times these warehouses were in a "closed" area where product was not released to trucks until the area reopened. Going through Houston allowed us to go directly to our broker's warehouse. Two areas, however, have yet to be transferred to the Houston port: Vietnam and Tianjin Province, China. Our brokers do not have the infrastructure in place to ship into Houston; however, we are working with another group that does have this capability and, hopefully, can get this changed over as well.

MEET THE TEAM

Let me introduce you to Mary Johnson, Office Manager. Mary's responsibilities include the critical task of processing customer orders, processing new purchase orders to our vendors. She is responsible for controlling the shipment of all product to arrive at our customer's door on their due date. She follows up with vendors on open purchase orders and monitors their ocean and air shipment receipts. She manages the accounting side of the business along with many other tasks.

MAGNETIC NUT CUP

One specialty product we provide is a magnetic nut cup. This angled plastic cup attaches to a strong magnetic base and is used to hold nuts, bolts and parts securely while you work on a project. The magnet attaches securely to vehicles, tool boxes, hoists, bins or other ferrous metal objects. The angled design of the cup allows it to be positioned vertically, horizontally or any angle you need to complete your task. The magnet is coated to prevent your work surface from scratches and damage and is oil and fuel resistant. The 6" diameter cup is fabricated from ABS plastic for durability. The magnet is strong enough to holdup to 5 pounds in a vertical position .This product can be purchased in bulk andcan be produced with your logo on the inside.
